SMS Terms

These SMS Terms describe the text-message (SMS) program offered by Kinward, Inc. ("Porchside") and supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Consent
By providing your phone number and verifying it, you consent to receive text messages from Porchside, including one-time verification codes, sign-in codes where you opt in, and account and activity notifications. Some messages may be sent using automated technology. Consent to receive non-essential messages is not a condition of any purchase.
2. Types of Messages
Messages may include security and verification codes, account alerts, activity reminders and updates, and, where you opt in, other notifications.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity and settings.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Porchside does not charge you for the messages themselves.
5. Opt-Out and Help
You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you opt out, we may send a single confirmation message. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of essential security messages, such as verification codes, may prevent you from signing in or using certain features.
6. Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change.
7. Privacy
We handle your phone number and message data as described in our Privacy Policy. Our SMS provider, Twilio, delivers the messages and processes related metadata under its own terms.
