Delete Your Account
You can delete your Porchside account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your information.
Delete from the app
Open the Porchside app, go to your Profile, open Settings, and choose Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm your password. This is the fastest way to delete your account.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access the app, email support@porchside.co from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete My Account." We will verify that the request comes from the account holder and process the deletion.
What happens when you delete
Your profile is immediately removed from public view and anonymized. We permanently delete your remaining personal information within 30 days, including your profile details, messages, and contact information. Selfie images used for identity verification are never retained; they are deleted immediately after the verification check. We keep a limited set of records only where the law requires or permits it, such as transaction records for tax and accounting purposes and records needed to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. De-identified or aggregated data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained for analytics.
Recovering your account
During the 30-day window before permanent deletion, you can contact support@porchside.co to recover your account. After that window, deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
